Responsibilities and duties:

• Install, maintain and repair complex irrigation systems for both commercial and residential customers.
• Repair and maintain valves, tracing electrical components, and perform pump repairs.
• Spring startups
• Mid-season inspections
• Winterization and blow out
• Ability to visually identify hot spots and make proper adjustments
• Install and/or repair controller that operates irrigation systems
• Make necessary repairs and adjustments to maintain all systems in proper working condition.

Qualifications:

• Five years irrigation experience
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Ability to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication with clients, co-workers and supervisor
• Ability to pull, push and lift up to 25 pounds
• Punctual attendance
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred

Wage and benefits:

• Pay range $22 – $30 per hour (depending on qualifications)

Landscape construction workers will be installing landscape and irrigation systems on grounds of commercial and residential property using hand or power tools or equipment. A qualified candidate will be willing to take initiative, be reliable, willing to learn and able to work within a team. Must be able to handle working in all weather conditions, be willing to comply with field policies and procedures and follow safety standards and practices. Stellar communication between management, administration and construction crew is a must. This job has the potential for advancement for the right person. Job Requirements:

• Ability to read and write English fluently
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 lbs. occasionally

• Must have basic plant identification knowledge.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written directions.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain customer and co-worker relations
• Must be able to work within a team.
• Must be able to work alone effectively and efficiently without supervision.
• *Weight and size of inventory will vary. Safe use of lifting and moving equipment when necessary.

Job Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Install softscape; sod, bark dust, plant life, hardscapes; walkways, patios, retaining walls, steps and driveways etc.
• Draining and grading properties.
• Selection/pick up and installation of plants.
• Installation of; water features, irrigation systems, fencing and night lighting.
• Prepare and properly maintain daily job documentation as needed.
• Keep an open line of communication with department manager regarding daily work.
• Be highly trainable and flexible in job duties as necessary to fit the needs of the company.
• *Duties will vary depending on level of advancement.

Salary $18.00 – $25.00 per hour – depending on experience.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly
